Additional Training Venue & New Class – Warwick

I am pleased to announce the launch of a new, regular slot for training, namely Chase Meadow Community Centre in Warwick. Classes start on Tuesday 12th August although you can join us on any Tuesday thereafter. We will train every Tuesday evening from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. All levels from beginner to seasoned ‘veterans’ in other martial arts are welcome to train with us. The martial art is effective against larger and stronger opponents and doesn’t require extreme levels of fitness. We already train a variety of age ranges from 12 year olds (accompanied by an adult) and our oldest member is fast approaching 70 years old.

All you need is a pair of training shoes, some track suit bottoms and a short-sleeved tee shirt. The first lesson is free and we operate a pay as you go system. No contracts. No long term commitment. My view is that if you are learning, evolving and enjoying the classes, you will keep coming and this has certainly been true of my other venues.

The new venue is in Chase Meadow Warwick, just off the Longbridge island at Junction 15 of the M40. I have secured a very large, carpeted room for us to train in every Tuesday evening from 18:30 – 19:30. The venue is Chase Meadow Community Centre, Warwick, CV34 6BT.

How to Join

Please use one of the following methods to register for your free lesson:
– fill in the form on our Contact page
– call barry on 07527-283429
– drop me an email at bazholland2@gmail.com
Failing that you can just turn up on the night although I would prefer one of the above methods to aid with planning.

How to get here

Warwick Location

I understand that this will be a challenge for many of the Cotswold group to attend however if you would like to come along you will be most welcome. The venue is only 300 metres from where I live currently and is very conveniently located next to a pub, a cafe, a Chinese takeaway, a fish and chip shop and a supermarket. There is also plenty of grassland near to the venue should the good weather continue so that we can kick-ass alfresco.

For those existing members who make the effort to travel from Chipping Norton to Warwick and who already pay for two lessons per week, these sessions will be free

I will also be looking at a further venue, closer to existing members as soon as I get my transport sorted. I am hoping that Wednesday’s class will go ahead as planned and if I don’t have a vehicle I will be scounging a lift from friends and family.
